A LITTLE HISTORY ABOUT JIM

AND HIS LIFE IN THE

PROFESSIONAL AUDIO FIELD…

Cush joined the Navy in 1967.  He completed a radar electronic school along with his First Class FCC License course at the Cleveland Institute of Electronics.  Cush then Graduated in 1975 from The Ohio State University getting his Bachelor degree in Music with an emphasis on Theory and Composition.  He then worked full time at Musicol Recording Studios in Columbus Ohio. In 1978, Cush became a live audio engineer at WPRI-TV 12 in East Providence, Rhode Island for almost 15 years.  He started Cushman Sound Services 1981 and changed the name to Jim Cushman Studio when moving to Lake Placid, NY in 1994.
